It is always so strange to me how someone's demise can catapult his career into an even higher level of fame. I'm not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I think it's comforting somehow when movies like this succeed even after the person who would have received the glory is gone.
Time's website has some good coverage of the movie, and some excellent multimedia stuff: http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1932860,00.html I'm sure you've already seen most of the videos they're offering, but I also found their review of the movie interesting. I'm glad the filmmakers chose not to feature his death itself. I think that would have been crass.
I think it will be interesting when someone makes a biopic about MJ. They now have all of this film footage of what he's like behind the scenes which can be used to craft a pretty interesting character.
I can see it now, "Moonwalking: The Micheal Jackson Story" by Oliver Stone.
